Saboki is my personal site that mixes satirical commentary on modern life with longer think pieces. Some posts are deliberately exaggerated or irreverent; others are more straightforward attempts to examine habits, trends, and cultural shifts. Readers should not assume every observation is meant as literal prescription or universal judgment. The aim is to provoke thought, not to issue commandments.

Comments are not enabled. Experience has shown that open comment sections reliably attract more heat than light, and I prefer to avoid the predictable tide of hostile, bad-faith, and hate-filled responses.

And, yes, I make extensive use of AI for my writing. I invent and AI does the rest. Sometimes AI and I have long dialogs about my ideas and how to best formulate them, with mixed success, I might add, because neither AI nor I are accomplished writers. But in the end it gets the job done and frees my mind to concentrate on connecting dots or new topics to broach. So no apologies there.

As to myself I am a retired baby boomer with extensive international travel experience who spent his formative years in the USA and Europe. I am not one of those boomers who claims that everything was better in the good old days but I have to admit that I am sometimes perplexed and overwhelmed by today’s crazy society.
